Excellent and very impressive Hotel both outside and inside with great attention to detail during the refurb back in 2006. Quality furnishings used throughout, I saw some negative feedback, but some people must need to find something negative. Walls are a bit thin and you do hear the next room comign and going. This hotel was great, breakfast was brill, full english, 3 orange juices, tea and toast, what else do you need? Spa was excellent, water warm and steam room fab, grounds were well manicured and quiet. I have stayed at Chewton Glen, Stapleford Park, Shrigley Hall etc, and this is on par with them easily. Will be back.

Excellent staff in restaurant - in particular j j who was a student undertaking work experience. Expensive fittings in the bathroom not in full working order. Asked for quiet room - party in progress beneath bedroom window on third night. Meat served at dinner which was inedible - could not cut or chew!! - so did not eat in- house again in a three- night stay.

Rushton hall is such a beautiful place! The architecture is fine and the interior is cozy n warm even on cold days. Our room was super comfy, and all the staff were really friendly and helpful. The food was delish! Had great meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The spa was amazing too, i highly recommend a massage with connie!

Staff were very helpful and accommodating. The hotel itself was easy enough to find despite its relative remoteness. Amazing scenery and backdrop. Great spa facilities. Definitely recommend the afternoon tea, but book early as this was very popular.

Peceful, beautiful, relaxing
The silly taps in the bathroom which you can't get hold of when you have soap on yur hands. The pop up waste in the basin does not hold water in the basin and drains away too quickly to have a wash.

l loved the hotel building. It was like staying in a stately home. The grounds were beautiful and the spa was very nice.
While we loved the downstairs of the hotel and the corridors we thought the bedroom was a diasappointing let down. The decor was a bit tired and the bed was one of those that you rolled into the middle. Didn't have a problem with the fact it was small but there was no imagination put into it. Have stayed in nicer B & B's for less.

Pleasant hotel, the staff were all pleasant and affable and the location was fantastic in the brasserie which was lovely. The room was well-maintained and spotless with extremely comfy bed, I enjoyed it. The view was nice over the front drive on one side and the lake at the other.

Rushton Hall's elegant interior and charming antique decor. The wide hallways and accessible facilities were a wonderful touch for us seniors, ensuring a good stroll.
More comfortable seating areas in common spaces.
